How to delete one or multiple map features

Go to the 'home' of the feature you want to delete.  If it's a Site Visit track, for instance, you'll need to navigate to that Site Visit record.  Or, to delete an issue, go to the Status page and then navigate to the specific issue.

Click the Map Layers Button.

Find the feature you'd like to delete, click the three dots and select 'Edit Layer'.  A new toolbar opens at the top of the map.

Tip:  You do not need to click the delete button in order to delete vertices.  Those can be removed simply by clicking them after selecting 'edit layer'.

FAQ: 'The parcel isn't disappearing after I've deleted it - what am I doing wrong?'

Deleting a parcel boundary is done using the 'delete area' workflow above. However, often the map also still displays the automatic 'Property Boundary' or 'Stewardship Site' boundary layer after the parcel has been deleted. Refresh the page, or navigate to another record and then back, to update these layers and reflect the updated map data.

Deleting Lines:

Click the line where there is not a vertex to delete the entire line.  You can also hold Ctrl (/Command) + Click and drag the mouse to select multiple lines:

Deleting Points (including Photopoints):

Click on the trash can and then click on a point to delete it.  Or select the lasso tool and click and drag the mouse to select multiple points to delete.
